Chair Mount Compatibility
These chairs / brands have been confirmed as (in)compatible.
However, it is good practice to double-check whether your chair is indeed compatible:
Aside from unlisted product updates, there can be outliers within a brand’s line-up.
You can use the Form template PDFs to do so; either via measuring, or by printing them at 100%.
These can also be found on the related product pages.
Rules of thumb for compatibility
Mounting points underneath the seat pan are required.
For chairs with Side mounted armrests, as found on the IKEA Markus, check whether the Universal Basis + Form 1 is a fit.
Mounting options with 2 bolts are doable, 3-4 is preferred.
Most ‘Gaming’ chairs with bottom-mounted armrests are compatible with Form 1 or 2.
Chairs with proprietary design elements, like alternative armrest assemblies and ‘streamlined’ seat pans, are often incompatible.
Most compatible chairs use Metric hardware.
In case your unit uses Imperial, relevant hardware has to be sourced locally.
Example of Bottom-mounted (/'Straight') armrest - Generally compatible with Form 1 or 2
Example of Side mounted armrest - Generally not directly compatible; see Universal Base

If you're not sure, feel free to send us a message, and we will have a look.
Should you know of an (in)compatible chair that isn't listed, do let us know and we'll update the applicable list.
Special note ( *[] )
In certain cases, a chair is technically compatible, albeit with limitations to be aware of.
Examples of this include, but are not limited to:
The chair is compatible with the centre mount bracket, and the side mounts.
However, for both to be used at the same time, you have to puzzle and stack.Certain control elements occupy the same space as the Form plate, and require remounting or removal.
Special care has to be taken with the bolts, as the chair has capped inserts for the threads/limited room due to frame elements.
Were possible, we add the related note between the square brackets.
