VKB STECS MAX

Overview

The VKB STECS MAX combo consists of the following elements:

• STECS ATEM - small button box mounted to the rear of the throttle

• STECS Mini - throttle module itself

• STECS Plus base plate

• VKB Multi Function Holder

• STECS STEM - larger button box mounted in front, via the MFH

Although it can be mounted as-is on the TM Warthog throttle plate, there is a limitation to keep in mind:

It is longer than this plate.

With a Chair/MTS HOTAS setup, this isn’t really an issue in most cases.
The excess length just hangs over the front.

On a Table/Rail/Sim Stand setup, you either need a longer horizontal profile, or use an offset like the https://docs.monster.tech/s/manuals/doc/throttle-add-on-dnJrm21duQ.
Note that offset mounting is restricted by the table itself, and whatever may be underneath.

Alternatively, you can mount the STEM separately via the https://docs.monster.tech/s/manuals/doc/vkb-panel-holder-fLUKl9kZXf.
This may be preferred regardless, as the throttle can stay closer to the table/mount.
The throttle itself is basically a STECS Plus at this point, and can also be mounted via the Mini/Plus plate.
