MFC to MPS Conversion
Conversion of an Existing Unit
At this time, turning an MFC into an MPS is not really an option.
The same applies for converting an MPS.
Mechanically, these designs differ too much.
Only the armrests can easily be swapped between MFC and MPS.
The primary constraint lies with how the backrest is attached:
The MFC is in the typical 'office chair'-style, with a gas cylinder Synchro-Tilt mechanism.
The MPS, on the other hand, effectively has the backrest attached to the seat pan itself.
Common 'Gaming Chair' designs, inspired by car seats, share this design feature.
Hence, this type of chair often can be converted to work on sim rigs.
Our MFC would require some creative DIY, to either keep the mechanism included, or to attach the backrest and seat without the mechanism.
In short; technically possible, practically unfeasible to mount the MFC, let alone converting it.

Custom Alternative
In case you’re looking to order a full rig in the future, but want to use an MFC/MPS in the meantime, an MPS on a custom frame might be a solution.
If/when a full rig is in place, the spare parts can likely come in handy for DIY mounts.
See https://docs.monster.tech/s/manuals/doc/custom-products-4uha29jeaF for related info.
Note that this design can also be used without getting a full Base Frame.
Several Chair and MTS mounts can be used basically as-is, whilst others can be modified to fit.
Example use cases:
Split base frame where the seat has to be separately movable
Seat-based ‘mini rig’ for easier storage
